After the successful face-to-face meeting “Latam Mobility: Chile 2022“, which was held at the W Santiago Hotel in the Chilean capital, and which brought together ministers, organizations and representatives of the most prominent companies linked to the sustainable mobility sector in Latin America, it is now the turn of one of the most important markets on the continent: Mexico.
According to Statista Mobility Market Outlook estimates, by 2022, electric car sales in Mexico are expected to reach 6,000 units, with an increase of more than 30% over the previous year, while by 2026, this figure could reach a sales volume of 18,900 new electric vehicles, almost three times the figure projected for Colombia for the same year.
For this reason, “Latam Mobility: Mexico 2022” will bring together, on October 11 and 12 at the World Trade Center in the country’s capital, high-level government representatives and leaders of companies that are betting their efforts on the mobility sector, in order to promote their decarbonization objectives.
“Latam Mobility: Mexico 2022,” which will feature opening remarks by the country’s Secretary of Economy, Tatiana Clouthier, will showcase the latest developments in the automotive sector linked to zero emissions; charging infrastructure needs; and the vision and perspectives of global manufacturers, along with crucial topics such as clean fuels, mobility as a service (MaaS), and smart cities.
Mobility + Sustainability
On October 12, also at the World Trade Center in Mexico City, and as part of the “Latam Mobility: Mexico 2022” meeting, the “Latam NetZero Ledearship Forum Mexico” will be held, organized by the leading sustainability community in Latin America and the Caribbean, Latam Green.
The sustainability space will be attended by prominent executives from the public and private sectors who, through a series of high-level panels, will discuss ways to enable the decarbonization of the country and the region.
ESG finance, banking opportunities, sustainable corporations, public policies and green technologies will be some of the topics to be discussed at the “Latam NetZero Ledearship Forum Mexico“.
